ROYAL FLUKES

Reading Edward VIII:  The Uncrowned King by Piers Brendon, I am amazed by the similarity between the Duke of Windsor and Prince Albert II of Monaco.

This paragraph says it all:

"Edward lacked moral and mental faculties to set against his 'exceptionally strong primitive passions.'  Moreover he had no aesthetic or spiritual capacities.  Like the child in the fairy story, he was 'given everything in the world, but they forgot the soul.'"

SIR SHIFTY IN THE HOT SEAT

'You talkin' to me?'

Internet goes into overdrive with hilarious memes after Sir Philip Green tells MP to stop staring at him

  • Sir Philip Green accused MP Richard Fuller of 'staring' in bizarre outburst
  • The billionaire claimed the Tory representative's look was 'disturbing'
  • Odd exchange sparked a string of hilarious memes across social media
  • Businessman today faces angry MPs in inquiry over the collapse of BHS

We at the Monaco Intelligence Service knew that Sir Shifty never should have received a knighthood.

At the time (June 2006), this pension thief was under investigation by UK authorities for insider trading.

We know this because the Brits asked MIS to assist with their investigation. (The insider trading of the UK stock market was believed to have its roots in Monaco.)

Either it was a case of the left hand not knowing what the right was doing, or Tony Blair was running a corrupt Honors system.

So much of what we knew ten years ago is finally coming to light, which seems to be the ratio (ten years) between what intelligence services know and when journalists start reporting it.
