PROPHETIC WORDS

There is is no more delicate matter to take in hand, nor more dangerous to conduct, nor more doubtful in its success, than to be a leader in the introduction of changes.

For he who innovates will have for enemies all those who are well off under the old order of things, and only lukewarm supporters in those who might be better off under the new.

ISLAMIC FANATICS IN & AROUND MONACO (AND VERY NEAR NICE, FRANCE)

In early December 2006, the Monaco Intelligence Service delivered a report to Prince Albert of Monaco on the identities of fanatical Moslems in and around the Principality of Monaco.

Most of these Islamic extremists were in France, within striking distance of Monaco.

We were concerned that many such fanatical Moslems had taken jobs centering on Monaco's Port Hercules.

Our report was compiled partly from Monaco police files and partly from intelligence provided to us by the foreign intelligence services with which we liaised.

Monaco Police Captain Yves Subraud, who investigated Islamic extremism in and around Monaco, estimated that 30 percent of the Moslems in Cap d'Ail and Beausoleil, on opposite ends of Monaco, were fanatics.

The French converts, he added, were more fanatical than ethnic Arabs.

"I don't know where my reports go," Subraud told me.  "No action is ever taken."

PHILIP GREEN: EXCERPTED FROM "THE SPYMASTER OF MONTE CARLO"

    Albertitis
Philip Green:  Brown face, brown nose

October 2003

On October 1st, the Prince phoned to confirm a meeting two weeks later and invited me to join him at the World Music Awards in Monte Carlo.

This allowed me to observe the social dynamics of a modern royal court.

I once told the Prince that he resides in the eye of a hurricane, with social climbers, hangers-on and brown-noses forever swirling around, trying to jostle one another out of position in an on-going contest of Who can be nearest the Prince.

All the usual suspects had tables in sectioned zones adjacent to the Prince’s own in the center, including British billionaire Philip Green, Irish packaging tycoon Michael Smurfit, and Omar Masoud, the Libyan vice-president of Tamoil.

Not content with his placement, Green actually left his table and postured himself in the Prince’s section, standing, gazing around, to ensure his proximity to the Prince was recognized by others—a condition known among insiders as Albertitis.

The next day at noon the Prince and I met in Hotel Columbus for fifty minutes during which I updated him on various matters.

Samy Maroun, the Prince told me, was still trying to put him together with Patric Maugein, saying things like, “He is close to Chirac” and “he has ideas for better business in Monaco.”

The Prince rebuffed him.  The system, I felt confident, was working.

“By the way?” I asked.  “What was Philip Green doing in your section at the music awards?”

“Yeah, I know,” replied the Prince, a look of utter disgust on his face.

ROYAL FLUKES

Reading Edward VIII:  The Uncrowned King by Piers Brendon, I am amazed by the similarity between the Duke of Windsor and Prince Albert II of Monaco.

This paragraph says it all:

"Edward lacked moral and mental faculties to set against his 'exceptionally strong primitive passions.'  Moreover he had no aesthetic or spiritual capacities.  Like the child in the fairy story, he was 'given everything in the world, but they forgot the soul.'"

SIR SHIFTY IN THE HOT SEAT

'You talkin' to me?'

Internet goes into overdrive with hilarious memes after Sir Philip Green tells MP to stop staring at him

  • Sir Philip Green accused MP Richard Fuller of 'staring' in bizarre outburst
  • The billionaire claimed the Tory representative's look was 'disturbing'
  • Odd exchange sparked a string of hilarious memes across social media
  • Businessman today faces angry MPs in inquiry over the collapse of BHS

We at the Monaco Intelligence Service knew that Sir Shifty never should have received a knighthood.

At the time (June 2006), this pension thief was under investigation by UK authorities for insider trading.

We know this because the Brits asked MIS to assist with their investigation. (The insider trading of the UK stock market was believed to have its roots in Monaco.)

Either it was a case of the left hand not knowing what the right was doing, or Tony Blair was running a corrupt Honors system.

So much of what we knew ten years ago is finally coming to light, which seems to be the ratio (ten years) between what intelligence services know and when journalists start reporting it.

PHILIP GREEN: PENSION FUND THIEF

Philip has come in for widespread criticism after the 90 year-old business (BHS) collapsed last week, months after he sold it for one pound, putting 11,000 jobs at risk and leaving a 571 million pound pension fund deficit.

We always knew Philip Green was a thief.

Time is proving true everything we ever wrote on this and previous web sites.

Monaco continues to be a haven for creeps.

THE UNACCEPTABLE FACE OF CAPITALISM: PHILIP GREEN

Just four years ago Sir Philip Green was dubbed King of the High Street by BBC Radio 4's Profile programme.
Now he is being branded the "Unacceptable Face of Capitalism" by a Conservative MP, as BHS, the retail chain he sold just a year ago for £1, goes into administration leaving a £571m hole in its pension fund.

Any surprise that the unacceptable face of capitalism resides in Monaco?

MONACO BRIBERY SCANDAL

PARIS (AP) -- Monaco's government says it's investigating how an alleged vast oil corruption scandal involving a Monaco-based company long went unnoticed, even though the principality has opened up its financial sector and cracked down on tax dodging.

QUESTION regarding (presumably from) Jean-Claude De-Grimaldi

AS  P. Albert's  Chief Intelligence Officer for six years,  We are CERTAIN that you have been Very Well aware of P. Albert's scurrilous activities against myself,   Robert...
During your time with Albert,  you were surveilling me assiduously ... As part of your duties Were you not, Robert...?
I have state department reports on this from my Trustee, Charles W. Robinson III, Deputy Secretary of State with Your name on it Mr. Eringe r.
Is there anything you want to inform me about with impunity before all of these matters
are exposed in the next two weeks Mr. Eringe r? The next two weeks is your opportunity .

My reply:

Dear Sir,

While it is true that I was Prince Albert’s Intelligence Adviser for 5.5 years, the first time I heard the name Jean-Claude De-Grimaldi was earlier this month through your e-mail address.

Hence, I was not only not aware of such a person and thus not interested in such a person, but I never even knew of the existence of such a person while I worked for the Prince.  (Sorry to disappoint.)

Consequently, I have nothing to inform you about, because everything I now know about such a person is from your own e-mails.

Best wishes,

R.

FILE UNDER: WE'VE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR YEARS...

A senior American official openly accused Putin of corruption, nepotism, and direct embezzlement of state funds.
The U.S. government has already imposed sanctions on Putin’s aides, but it is thought to be the first time it has directly accused the president himself of corruption.

Could it be true that the world is finally waking up?

PUTIN SANCTIONED LITVINENKO KILLING

Where is the surprise here?

We have said it all along.

Starting with my 2008 book Ruse:  Undercover With FBI Counterintelligence.

Russian President Vladimir Putin "probably approved" the killing of ex-spy Alexander Litvinenko in London, a British inquiry into his agonising death by radiation poisoning found Thursday.
Litvinenko, a prominent Kremlin critic, died three weeks after drinking tea laced with radioactive polonium at an upmarket London hotel in 2006.
Two Russians, Andrei Lugovoi and Dmitri Kovtun, were identified by British police as prime suspects but attempts to extradite the pair have failed.
The findings of the 300-page report pile pressure on Britain to act against Russia in response. Home Secretary Theresa May is due to outline the government reaction in a statement to parliament later on Thursday.
"The FSB operation to kill Litvinenko was probably approved by Mr (Nikolai) Patrushev and also by President Putin," the report said.

Excerpted from

Ruse:
Undercover with FBI Counterintelligence

For all the theories and political spin, it is clear that the FSB as an institution, not some rogue element, executed Litvinenko, a former KGB officer who quit and exiled himself to Britain.

FSB Chairman Nikolai Patrushev personally approved the operation, and it was sanctioned at the very top, by his boss, President Putin.

SEAN PENN & EL CHAPO

Famous Hollywood actor Josh Penner works secretly as an "access agent" for the CIA, collecting intelligence on foreign dictators.

The biggest problem facing Charles Mulberry, an officer with CIA's Foreign Research Division in Los Angeles, is stroking his celebrity agent's ego, compounded by a turf war with the FBI over Penner's evolving activities.

A new assignment for Penner, to neuter a rogue spy intent on revealing vital secrets, complicates matters significantly as cloaked characters converge into a surprise ending.

SOTRAMA: PUTIN'S SMOKING GUN IN MONACO

In October 2013, Anastasia Kirilenko interviewed me on behalf of Radio Free Europe.

That interview has now been incorporated into a Russian documentary movie called Who is Mr. Putin?

Already over one million views.

I appear at 55:00 through 57:35.
